घरेलू हिंसा के प्रति दृष्टीकोण के संबंध में व्यस्कों की आधुनिकता एवं स्थानीयता का अध्ययन

DOIs:10.2018/SS/202505012 | Paper ID: SS202505012आधुनिक समय में भी घरेलू हिंसा विभिन्न रूपों में विद्यमान एक गंभीर विडम्बना बनी हुई है जो समाज को अंदर से खोखला बना रही है। प्रस्तुत अध्ययन का उद्देश्य यह जानना था कि किस प्रकार आधुनिकता वयस्कों की सोच और दृष्टिकोण को प्रभावित करते हैं, विशेषकर घरेलू हिंसा जैसे संवेदनशील सामाजिक मुद्दे पर। प्रस्तुत शोध में सहसंबंधात्मक विधि को उपयोग में लाया गया, जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली जिले के कुल 100 वयस्कों (50 शहरी एवं 50 ग्रामीण) को स्तरीकृत यादृच्छिक प्रतिचयन विधि द्वारा चुना गया, जिनकी औसत आयु 23.4 वर्ष थी। आंकड़ों के संकलन हेतु केरावाला और कलियथ (1989) की व्यक्तिगत आधुनिकता मापनी का हिन्दी अनुकूलन करने के पश्चात एवं सोनी और बेहमानी (2018) की घरेलू हिंसा के प्रति दृष्टिकोण मापनी का उपयोग किया गया। आंकड़ों का विश्लेषण में पियर्सन गुणन-आघुर्ण (प्रोडक्ट मोमेंट) सह-संबंध एवं टी-परीक्षण की गणना की गयी। परिणामों में पाया कि वयस्कों की आधुनिकता और घरेलू हिंसा के प्रति दृष्टिकोण के मध्य नकारात्मक सहसंबंध है (r=-0.549, p<.01)। शहरी वयस्कों में अधिक आधुनिकता और घरेलू हिंसा के प्रति अस्वीकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण देखा गया, जबकि ग्रामीण वयस्कों में यह प्रवृत्ति अपेक्षाकृत कम थी। टी-परीक्षण द्वारा यह अंतर सांख्यिकीय रूप से सार्थक पाया गया (t=3.252, p< 0.01; t=7.926, p<0.01)। अतः निष्कर्षतः कहा जा सकता है कि आधुनिकता घरेलू हिंसा जैसे सामाजिक कुरीतियों की अस्वीकृति में सहायक सिद्ध होती है। इस प्रकार, सामाजिक विकास और नीति निर्माण में आधुनिकता को बढ़ावा देने वाली शिक्षा एवं जागरूकता आवश्यक है।
